Gentlemen Who Barter wants to keep things simple and straight forward. This website is designed to provide a business man’s directory and provide networking exclusively to men. We want men to have the information that they’re most interested in as well as the tools needed to grow a successful and dynamic business.
So what does barter have to do with it? Not much of anything unless you really want to barter your products and services. It’s not mandatory to do business among GWB members and some industries are regulated by federal and state governments so they are unable to barter. But here’s the deal, if you like bartering, you will have the opportunity to negotiate among other like-minded members who are interested in the same things you are.
Bartering is private among members so GWB does not provide an accounting of your business transactions. Be sure you are aware of IRS rules on bartering before bartering your goods and services. The bottom line is we have opened the doors to provide a platform for men to choose whether or not they want to buy, sell or barter their products and services without the obligation of bartering. Remember, Gentlemen Who Barter is not a trade or exchange organization.
GWB is more about exchanging ideas, skills and knowledge and building a community of like-minded individuals wanting to refer and build a referral base of business. GWB is similar to a leads organization without the excessive membership fees and without the exclusivity. We believe that professional people thrive in a competitive but friendly environment. It’s all about giving our members as many choices to make their own decisions.
GWB was formed because there are not enough men-only information and networking opportunities. Let’s face it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with networking with the other gender but take the emotion out of the equation, and you have the way men like to connect and do business with each other.
