About Us

Women Who Barter is an online networking association created to support women business owners or women who want to launch a new business. Our intent is to support every type of business owner whether you are a mompreneur, a seniorpreneur or a well established company of any size.

Our goal is to help any woman who wants to start her own business regardless of her age. You are never too young or too old, and it’s never too late! Our members are available to help and support each other. That’s one of the main reasons they have joined our community network.

Founder, Speaker & Sales Trainer

In September 2009, I launched my online business with an email to a hundred people asking them to help me by forwarding my email to everyone they know.  I recalled in my email the message in the movie, “Pay It Forward”.  To my astonishment, I started getting orders from all over the country.  Paying it forward is the premise for establishing Women Who Barter.  If you help others in a time of need, and they pay it forward, more and more people benefit from good and kind actions.  Eventually, the chain reaction of paying it forward will come back to help you.

I know how difficult it is to promote a business all by yourself with limited funds. Most advertising venues are too expensive and must be repetitious in order for them to be viable so I joined a business association in order to network with other business owners. Like many of you, I have had good results in meeting people and getting referrals but have found it to be a long and tedious process with not many referrals resulting in sales.

For this reason, I have created this women’s networking association.  The purpose is to promote its members with every means available, provide a networking community conducive to self promotion, provide ideas and information to help members, and to provide a platform for women to exchange their knowledge, their skills, and their products and services.
